After the death of my husband, I reached a place of such deep despair that I no longer wanted to live. Grief swallowed me whole, and for a time, I could not see a way forward. Through the loving support of friends, the comfort of GriefShare, and the guidance of therapy, I began to pull myself out of the darkness slowly.
Writing became my lifeline. I poured my heart onto the page every single day, documenting both my pain and my small steps toward healing. In that process, I rediscovered a lifelong dream — I had always wanted to be a writer. My words not only helped me survive, but they also began to encourage others who were grieving.
With encouragement from those around me, I trained to become a certified grief coach. Today, as a Transformational Life Coach for Widows, I walk alongside women who are three or more years into their journey. My mission is to help them rediscover their purpose, set meaningful goals, and learn how to live fully — not despite their loss, but alongside it.
I like to say, "I made a masterpiece of my madness" — turning brokenness into something that now brings light, hope, and renewal to others.
